On Nov. 27-29, 2018, the Colorado Plateau Intertribal Conversations (CPIC) group will once again host a gathering of Native peoples from across the Colorado Plateau as well as other tribal representatives from across the country. This year’s conversations will focus on tribal food resiliency, culture-based tribal economies, and the international movement The Rights of Nature. Continuing the model of the CPIC from the last nine years, this year’s gathering will highlight current initiatives across the region, build on relationships between tribal communities, and create a space for new connections and ideas to grow.
